Para uma aula de design gráfico meu desafio foi repensar o projeto literário do romance de Elena Ferrante “A Amiga Genial”. A história deste livro e dos outros 3 (A Tetralogia Napolitana) segue a amizade de Lenu e Lila no passar dos anos como uma história única, a história de uma vida.
A proposta para esse projeto foi pensar a sequência de livros como uma história única, sem interrupções e quebras. Os títulos de capítulos e classificações numerais não poderiam estar na mancha de texto, a ideia então foi colocar essas informações em colunas fora da mancha. Essa abordagem foi pensada considerando os 4 livros.
Na capa foi mantido o mesmo grid. O título e todas as informações foram mantidas na coluna lateral acima de uma fotografia de Luigi Ghirri que compõe a atmosfera do livro.

For a graphic design class my self challenge was re-think the book project of Elena Ferrante's novel "My brilliant friend". The story in this book and the three other books (the Ferrante's tetralogy) follows the friendship between Lenu and Lila over the years as a single story, a life story.
The proposal to this project was to think the sequel of books as one single story, without interruptions and breaks. So the chapter titles or numerals classifications couldn't stay on the type area, then the idea was to put this informations on columns outside the type area. This approach was thought having in mind the four books.
For the cover the same grid was maintained. The title and all informations stayed on the border column under a Luigi Ghirri's photography that reflects the book's atmosphere.
